The walled Old Town is an appealing base if you want to explore its streets on foot. Before choosing a room inside it, ask about luggage access, stairs and where a car could be parked. A waterfront stay elsewhere around the bay may give a different view and a different daily journey into Kotor. Compare the exact address rather than assuming every “Kotor” listing is walkable from the gates.
