Describe what you need
Give the provider the information needed to identify suitable equipment, including the child's age, height and weight when requested. Ask for the restraint category, relevant manufacturer specifications and whether the car supports the proposed installation.

Include the seat in the reservation

Plan the airport collection

At handover, compare the supplied equipment with what was confirmed. Do not accept a different arrangement without checking its suitability. Resolve missing or unsuitable equipment before starting the journey.
Compare a complete family booking
Use the same car category, dates, handover location and seat requirements across your shortlist. A lower headline rate is not a like-for-like comparison if it excludes essential equipment.

Keep an equipment confirmation with the voucher
Save the supplier's written description of the requested restraint, how many are reserved, the applicable charge and the pickup arrangement. A generic car photograph cannot confirm that a particular restraint is included. Ask the provider to clarify the actual equipment rather than trying to infer suitability from a booking icon.
Allow time to resolve a mismatch
Do not plan the handover as a transaction that must finish instantly. Check the equipment and the vehicle against the confirmation before leaving. If an essential item is missing or unsuitable, contact the supplier and resolve it before starting the journey. This is a planning recommendation, not a substitute for the manufacturer's fitting instructions or applicable safety requirements.
